Position: Quality Engineer - Headphone
The Quality Engineer tasks are to improve product quality, to drive customer satisfaction and reduce product returns. Root cause analysis of quality issues and execution of product quality improvements through preventive or corrective actions. Help to development of quality systems, procedures and controls to ensure that products consistently meet SKDY quality specification. This position is located in the Shenzhen office, reports to the Quality Manager, and will require regular travel to suppliers mostly in Guangdong province.
Main Responsibilities:
? Handle the customer quality complaints, conduct product failure analysis on defective samples/field returns to determine root cause.
? Coordinate with vendors for immediate measures, corrective actions & preventive solution, and follow up the effectiveness of the actions.
? Establish & maintain quality standard & policy, visual inspection criteria and improve control procedures.
? Conduct process verification & validation and review vendor’s quality control plan.
? Develop quality metrics to sufficiently monitor, track and identify quality trends based on FPQC inspection report and RMA.
? Support/lead implementation of quality tools and systems.
? All other duties as assigned by Quality Manager.
Main Requirements
? Undergraduate degree or above in Electronics Engineering or related disciplines.
? Minimum 2 years of experience in OEM/ODM, preferably in headphones/earphones or related field; including experience in electronics, acoustics, plastics processing, secondary processing, packaging, etc.
? 2+ years of experience in an international company.
? Good command of written and spoken English with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
? Solid experience in Supplier Audits, Product Inspection, Quality & Production Improvement, process engineering and QMS documentation.
? Hand-on experience of applying quality tools (FMEA, SPC) 6-sigma methodologies with strong statistical concepts.
? Frequent travel to vendors is required.
