Position: Lab Engineer
Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Reliability design, development, and testing of headphone. Testing will utilize but not limited to acoustic analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, digital multi-meter, environmental chamber, cable bending tester, tensile tester, reliability life test equipment etc... Develop work instructions and new qualification processes for using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Strong verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Perform other related duties as assigned by management
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Testing, verification, and report writing.
? Testing requires experience with acoustic test software of Soundcheck or B&K （Frequency response, sensitivity, THD, Impedance）, cable bending tester, digital Multi-meter, tensile tester, hi-pot tester, environmental chamber, salt spray tester and the related reliability life testers.
? Expertise in the use of quality analytical tools（ Gage R&R, SPC, CPK, DFMEA, PFMEA and QCP etc..）
? Make and review all working instruction to ensure the vendor’s test method is conformity with our lab’s method.
? Liaise with vendor and internal team in quality and test related issues.
? Superintend all tests （parts qualification and product qualification） and service for our PD team, QE team and Pack City team.
? Understand, support, and contribute to TQM and Quality / Environmental Management Systems by following approved policies and procedures
? Equipment maintenance.
? Handle all FAV and ORT tests, issue test report and analyze the defected specimen and track the corrective action.
Other duties as required by management.
WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Required:
At least 3 years experience of lab, QE or DQA experience in headphone company or electrical factory.
